Wind chill values could plunge to -10 degrees Fahrenheit, posing risks of frostbite and hypothermia. Residents are urged to dress in layers and bring pets and livestock indoors.

Officials caution drivers about slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses, as refreezing is likely. The County’s Ride On bus service will operate on its regular weekday schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Residents should be prepared for potential power outages due to continued freezing temperatures. Report outages to Pepco, Baltimore Gas and Electric, or First Energy through their mobile apps or hotlines or by calling the following numbers:

County Animal Services reminds residents to follow anti-cruelty regulations. Report animals left outside in unsafe conditions by calling 301-279-8000.
